Community awards program

The SMCFWA Community Awards allows us to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements and contributions that individuals within our community have made to the lives of others.

If you or someone you know has made, a significant contribution to the community, at local, regional or state level then please tell us about it by nominating them for a 2010 SMCFWA Community Award.

Nominations for Awards open on the 30th August 2010 and close on the 29th October 2010.

Please remember to keep a copy of your nomination form and any attachments, as these documents cannot be returned to you.

There are three (3) award categories:

District Grand Masters Masonic Award

Youth Encouragement Award

Community Achievement Award

Scottish Freemasons, over 25 years of age, who have demonstrated a sustained and extraordinary personal commitment to the guiding principles of Scottish Freemasonry being; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

Young persons, aged 12-25 years of age, who have helped raise awareness and shown outstanding personal commitment to improving the lives of people within our community.

Persons over the age of 25, who have demonstrated a sustained and extraordinary personal commitment to imrpoving and/or reshaping the lives of people within our community

Awards Presentation Evening

The finalist for all three categories will be invited to attend an awards event which will be held in March 2011.

Finalists will receive a donation towards the Charity/not for profit organisation of their choice.

  • Winner: $2,000
  • Runner up: $1,500
  • 2nd Runner up: $1,000
