End of an Era
30 July 2009

At the end of 2008 the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA made the decision to sell the Scottish Masonic Homes of WA. The homes have now officially changed hands and Freemasons WA will now take over the running of the facility which for many years the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA has owned and operated.

The transfer of ownership of the Crown Grant to Freemasons WA Homes was completed at the end of June 2009. The funds from the transfer of this grant will assist the foundation to step up its community support programs and help provide relief to those in need within the West Australian Community.

Our thanks go to all who have supported us in the management of the homes especially Ken Gifford who has managed the homes and assisted residents over the years.
